The top sheet of the rubber has a sticky surface. The stickiness of the surface remains for a long time because of the special molecular structure of the rubber. Combined with a special flexible sponge the rubber allows players to place the ball precisely and vary the speed and spin of the stroke while attacking near the table or from medium distance.
