Description
The DHS Hurricane Long 5 Light is the specialized lightweight edition of Ma Long's iconic offensive weapon. Specifically calibrated to weigh between 84 and 86 grams, this blade provides all the explosive Inner Arylate-Carbon power and torrential looping spin of the standard Long 5, while drastically enhancing wrist acceleration, recovery speed, and fluid transitions between forehand and backhand wings.
Key Playing Characteristics
- Lightweight Speed Advantage: At ~85 grams, players enjoy effortless wrist snap on banana flicks and lightning recovery in rapid counter-hitting exchanges.
- Inner Arylate-Carbon Dynamics: Soft wood outers provide sublime dwell time and control, with inner composite plies activating on power loops.
- Reduced Joint Strain: Lower total racket weight minimizes forearm, elbow, and shoulder fatigue during grueling tournament matches.
- Dynamic Spin Trajectory: Produces a high-arching topspin trajectory that dips sharply onto the table.
