Dawei 388C-1 Strange (with Sponge): Active Deception Combined with Punching Power

The Dawei 388C-1 Strange (with sponge) unites the erratic, deceptive trajectory of the Strange topsheet with the active offensive acceleration of a medium sponge layer. This combination empowers tactical counter-attackers to transition seamlessly from disruptive blocking to sudden off-the-bounce punches, preventing aggressive opponents from settling into a steady offensive rhythm.

Key Performance Characteristics in Play

• Deceptive Punch Counter-Attack: Strikes through floating balls with sudden acceleration; the ball drops abruptly off the opponent's table.
• Wobbling Block against Topspin: Returns opponent loop drives with unpredictable knuckle-ball flutter and sudden deceleration.
• Safe Service Return: Minimizes incoming spin sensitivity, allowing aggressive over-the-table flicking into wide angles.
• Controlled Defensive Chopping: The sponge cushion provides enough dampening to absorb heavy drives from mid-distance.
