DHS Neo Hurricane 3 National (Blue Sponge): The Holy Grail of Chinese Forehand Rubber

The DHS Neo Hurricane 3 National Edition with iconic Blue Sponge is universally recognized as the holy grail of professional table tennis equipment. Utilized on the forehand by Olympic and World Champions (such as Ma Long and Fan Zhendong), the Blue Sponge features a distinct chemical vulcanization process that makes it crisper, more dynamic, and capable of generating unprecedented forward penetration compared to standard orange sponges. Each sheet is hand-selected and numbered for national team deployment.

Key Performance Characteristics in Play

• Electrifying Blue Sponge Crispness: The blue cellular matrix provides sharper ball release and higher catapult than orange sponge when struck with full kinetic arm velocity.
• Maximum Rotational Energy: Creates an overwhelmingly dense topspin arc that dips aggressively past the net and kicks ferociously forward off the bounce.
• Surgical Serve & Return: The legendary tacky surface completely controls incoming ball friction, allowing drop shots to be positioned millimeters behind the net.
• Unwavering Counter-loop Stability: In maximum-speed forehand-to-forehand exchanges, the ball holds its line without slipping or bottoming out.

Blade Synergies and Equipment Matching

The Blue Sponge demands a high-grade inner-carbon blade with adequate internal flex to unleash its full compression power. The ultimate worldwide reference pairing is the DHS Hurricane Long 5 (W968) or the high-performance Victas ZX-Gear IN.
