DHS Neo Hurricane 3 Player Edition (Ma Long Backhand): Customized Chinese Backhand Mastery

The DHS Neo Hurricane 3 Player Edition (Ma Long Backhand) is crafted strictly to the personal backhand specifications of Ma Long. While European players predominantly rely on springy non-tacky tensors for backhand play, Ma Long pioneered dominating backhand exchanges using a specialized soft-grade (37°–37.5°) Orange NEO sponge combined with the legendary Hurricane 3 tacky topsheet. This setup provides unrivaled spin control on over-the-table banana flicks, extreme underspin returns, and forgiving counter-looping.

Key Performance Characteristics in Play

• Supreme Banana Flick Grip: Grips the plastic ball instantly on compact wrist flicks, imparting massive revolutions per minute that dive dangerously over the net.
• Forgiving Sponge Dwell Time: The customized 37°–37.5° orange sponge cushions high-speed opponent attacks, enabling precise directional blocking and placement.
• Safe Arc on Backhand Loop Openings: Easily lifts deep defensive chops without slipping, producing a high safety margin over the net.
• Chinese Tactical Precision: Neutralizes incoming service spins entirely, giving players complete dominance in the short-game phase of rallies.
