Lemn Victas / Koji Matsushita

The Victas Koji Matsushita is an iconic benchmark defensive blade developed by the legendary Japanese modern defensive maestro Koji Matsushita. Engineered specifically for precision classical and modern chop defence, this 5-ply all-wood masterpiece combines exceptionally soft, selected wood veneers to absorb the kinetic energy of aggressive heavy-spin loops and generate devastating, variable backspin from mid-to-far distance.

Key Playing Characteristics

• Supreme Spin Absorption: Dampens explosive topspin attacks effortlessly, giving defenders total control over chop depth and height.
• Extended Dwell Time: Allows defenders to manipulate incoming ball rotation with micro-adjustments, delivering heavy backspin or floating no-spin variations.
• Enlarged Defensive Sweet Spot: Oversized blade head creates a forgiving sweet spot crucial for scrambling reaches and off-center emergency blocks.
• Controlled Counter-Attack Capability: Retains sufficient backbone for surprise forehand loop transitions and counter-drives when attacking loose balls.
