Lemn Yasaka / Sweden defensive

The Yasaka Sweden Defensive is an artisanal 5-ply all-wood defensive blade crafted in Tranås, Sweden. Engineered specifically for classical and modern defenders who prioritize supreme ball deceleration, precision backspin manipulation, and total control over aggressive loops, this blade combines soft Scandinavian veneers with an enlarged defensive head to offer unparalleled touch and safety.

Key Playing Characteristics

• Extreme Pace Absorption: Soft Scandinavian wood plies absorb heavy topspin energy effortlessly, keeping defensive chops low, tight, and deep.
• Massive Dwell Time: Extended contact time allows defenders to load maximum backspin into chops or execute deceptive floating no-spin returns.
• Enlarged Defensive Head: Provides a forgiving sweet spot crucial for scrambling reaches and off-center emergency blocks.
• Controlled Counter-Attack: Retains sufficient stability for surprise forehand counter-loops and placement drives when attacking loose balls.
