Gomma Dawei / 388C-1 King (Medium Pips)

Dawei 388C-1 King: Dynamic Medium Pips with Sponge for Active Attacking and Counter-Disruption

The Dawei 388C-1 King (with sponge) provides the perfect bridge between the disturbing deception of long pips and the blistering offensive firepower of short pips. Equipped with an elastic, medium-density sponge, this version allows aggressive players to execute fast, skidding counter-drives and active punch-blocks while retaining the signature medium-pip knuckle-ball effect that confuses opponents during rallies.

Key Performance Characteristics in Play

• Active Attacking Capability: The sponge layer provides dynamic catapult, allowing players to attack half-long and floating balls with fast, sinking trajectories.
• Unpleasant Low Skid: Blocks against opponent topspins return low and skid rapidly across the table, denying opponents time to step around for a second loop.
• Effective Service Reception: Strongly dampens incoming spin, enabling aggressive wrist flicks directly into the corners.
• Mid-Distance Versatility: Unlike OX pimples, the sponge cushion enables controlled chopping from mid-distance when forced away from the table.
