The Red + Black 1st Dan is a boutique, handcrafted offensive-minus blade developed by European artisan manufacturer Red + Black. Combining carefully seasoned natural wood veneers with innovative carbon micro-fibers, the 1st Dan offers sublime dwell time, organic ball pocketing, and predictable trajectory acceleration, making it an exquisite weapon for loopers and touch tacticians.
Key Playing Characteristics
- Boutique Artisanal Craftsmanship: Hand-finished with premium seasoned veneers, ensuring acoustic purity and vibration-free handling.
- Extended Dwell Time: Allows players to sink the ball deeply into the blade face, maximizing rotation on opening loops against backspin.
- Forgiving Large Sweet Spot: Consistent response across the entire face reduces unforced errors.
- Controlled Counter-Attacking: Great stability against incoming loops, allowing players to place blocks with surgical accuracy.
